vaporesso gen 220w
Having tried a couple of PodMod’s and AIO’s for DTL (Direct To Lung), I haven’t been too impressed by them and preferred my traditional mod and tanks for sub-ohm DTL vaping, so I even have to admit I wasn’t expecting an excessive amount of from the Target PM80 – boy, was I certain an excellent surprise!
which just about sums up this kit, though there are tons more they might have boasted because it clothed as it’s one among the foremost impressive DTL devices I even have ever tested.
Straight away it began to impress because it features a much-welcomed second tank, which may be a big pro. There also are two new GTX mesh coils designed especially for this kit, a charging (and firmware?) micro USB, which sadly isn’t USB-C but it clothed to be no big deal, some curious silicone bungs which clothed to be airflow restrictors and color options, and eventually some bits of card that I rarely read – a symbol of an honest kit is that if it’s intuitive, and a manual may be a pis aller on behalf of me.
The battery section features a nice look and feels thereto, it feels solid and well crafted. I dry fitted a pod into it and was impressed how easily it popped in and held itself securely with two magnets, no play or rattle. It felt specialized within the hand, similar tall to the Geekvape Aegis boost though the touch was smaller and easier.
While it had been charging, I turned my attention to the ‘pods’ (essentially a tank), which look and feel top quality but the most important pro is that they’re CLEAR – eventually, a corporation that listens vaporesso tank
.
The advantage of having a spare tank is you’ll try both coils with different juices with a fast swap of the pods.
I primed up the coils with a touch liquid into the cotton slots and a drop swag kits.
The coils are an easy press fit, note of the 2 flats which require to be orientated with the corresponding flat edges within the aperture, simple enough as you can’t fit them incorrectly as they’re going to not press in if they’re within the wrong position.
Filling the pod is completed via the bottom and a silicone bung which is straightforward to open and shut. I used a 50ml short fill bottle with no problems and no airlocks, so it’s clean and easy to ascertain your juice level with the clear plastic.
The problem with text is it sounds longer than it is, priming the coil, fitting it, and filling it up took around a moment and was mess-free. I can’t recall a neater pod/air or tank that’s this easy.
Looks and Ergonomics
I understand looks are subjective target pm80 pod, but I actually just like the styling and overall look of this kit, and therefore the clear tank added to the aesthetics.
The main chassis features a gunmetal plated finish with vaporesso gtx a resin style wrap which has an almost leather-like feel thereto. regardless of the material is, it does increase the grippy feel thereto. The screen side is well laid out, there’s a metal fire button which is contoured and well-positioned for thumb or finger firing, the adjustment buttons are tiny but easy to click without issue and also resistant enough to avoid
